CROCKPOT RECIPE- Cheese Stuffed Meatballs

Cheese Stuffed Meatballs-CROCKPOT

Makes 4-4oz, 10-12 1oz balls

1lb lean ground turkey

2 light string cheese sticks cut into 3rds

2c. tomato sauce, ½ c. tomato sauce per ball

1 tbsp basil

2 tsp minced garlic

1 tbsp oregano

Place ground meat in bowl, mix in basil, garlic, and oregano. Roll into balls with hands (golf ball sized for the 1oz option) with cheese stick portion in middle of each ball. Pour ½ tomato sauce in bottom of crockpot, arrange meat balls in crockpot. Pour remaining sauce over each ball. Cook on high for 2 hours or low 4-6 hours, until meat balls cooked in middle.
